When you first set up an account with us, you would have received an email with the details on how you can gain access to your control panel. If you have lost those details, feel free to raise a support ticket or call in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Check the tick box to enable password protection on the selected directory, then click <strong>Save<\/strong> to proceed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.cloudabove.com\/sc_assets\/26831\/directoryprivacyname.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"banner-tip\">\ud83d\udc49 <strong>Tip:<\/strong> You can name the password protected directory anything you like (or leave it as the default), however it&#8217;s recommend to name it something relevant to the directory\/website you&#8217;re protecting (e.g. <em><strong>Production website<\/strong><\/em>). <br><br>The name can be changed later if needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>5. The final step is to choose a <strong>username<\/strong> and <strong>password<\/strong> in order to access your website now it has been password protected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.cloudabove.com\/sc_assets\/26833\/directoryprivacyuser.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"banner-warning\">\u26a0\ufe0f <strong>Important:<\/strong> Please make sure to set a <strong>strong<\/strong> password, the stronger the password the less likely it can be brute forced\/bypassed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"banner-note\">\ud83d\udca1 <strong>Note:<\/strong> Once the password has been set it&#8217;s not stored anywhere visible\/accessible, so we also recommend making the password memorable and\/or storing the password in a secure location (e.g. a password manager).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>That&#8217;s it!
