ULTRA Cloud managed servers use the nginx web server which doesn’t natively support .htaccess<\/code> files. However, you can easily create page and domain redirects directly from the ULTRA Cloud Panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to Create a Redirect<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Log in to your ULTRA Cloud Panel<\/strong><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Navigate to Sites<\/strong> and select the relevant domain<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. In the site menu, go to Domains & Redirects<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Click Add redirect<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Enter your redirect source and destination:\n
      \n
    • For a specific page, enter the location e.g. yourdomain.com\/old-page<\/code><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • For a catch-all, use the wildcard *<\/code> symbol to redirect all traffic to a destination<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Save the redirect<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Setting a Preferred Domain<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      If you need to redirect all traffic to a preferred version of your domain (e.g. from yourdomain.com<\/code> to www.yourdomain.com<\/code>), use the Set Preferred Domain<\/strong> option in the same Domains & Redirects section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
